Why "Type A"?

Did you know that the “Type A” and “Type B” personality designations were developed by two cardiologists in the 1950s? They were doing research to try to determine if certain personality characteristics were indicators of a greater chance of developing heart disease. The Type A personality is one that is supposed to be more competitive, organized, ambitious, and impatient, among other things. I would definitely put myself in that bucket, though probably less so than I was 10 years ago. When I travel or work with others on travel-related things, I really want to maximize time and enjoyment. There is never enough time to see and do it all, so making sure you select the right things is critical. And that is what I am good at!
